Flying United Cup finalists across Australia
A tennis organisation asked us to help fly players across Australia for the United Cup final. The client wanted to plan air travel for the trip well in advance, but couldn't confirm passenger details until the qualifying teams were decided 12 hours before the flight departed. This level of flexibility isn’t possible with scheduled services, so we set about arranging an aircraft charter that could accommodate their needs.
Our Solution
Route: Perth > Sydney
Aircraft: Embraer E190
Reaching out to local operators, we sourced an Embraer E190 with plenty of space to accommodate the 80 passengers and their equipment.
The operator was happy to confirm the charter ahead of time without passenger names, allowing the client to provide this information on the day of departure.
The Finer Details
Rapid Response: We worked through the night to arrange a second aircraft charter at short notice when one team wanted to fly later that day to meet their training schedule, rather than flying on the E190 early in the morning.
