Organising a charter for 500 engineering workers
In October 2022, an engineering company asked us to help transport 500 passengers from a cruise ship in Valencia, Spain to Nantes in France as part of an incentive trip. With no direct scheduled services connecting the two destinations, we set about arranging a private charter solution for this large group.
Our Solution
Route: Valencia > Nantes
Aircraft: Airbus A330, Airbus A320
We quickly sourced two Airbus airliners that were positioned nearby and could transport all the passengers at the same time.
When the client’s local partner was unable to confirm road transportation, we stepped in and arranged 10 buses to transfer the group from the cruise port to the airport.
The Finer Details
Flight Representation: Our account manager was at the airport to oversee check-in and quickly accommodate any last-minute changes to the passenger list. They also travelled with the group on the flight.
Local Knowledge: Our Paris office worked with ACS Madrid, who speak the local language and could liaise with local bus and aircraft operators to negotiate the best price.
