Flying guests to an engagement party
A client’s personal assistant got in touch asking us to help fly 300 guests from the United States to his engagement party in Spain and back. Planning the party was taking up a lot of the couple’s time, so they wanted the convenience of a private charter to transport their guests without the stress and complications that are often associated with commercial flights. We got to work putting together a stress-free solution.
Our Solution
Route: Rhode Island > Tenerife > Rhode Island
Aircraft: Boeing B777
We quickly presented the client with several aircraft options with enough seats for the large group, including an Airbus A330 and a Boeing B767-300.
An even bigger aircraft was needed when more people were added to the passenger list. We sourced a 375-seat Boeing B777 and liaised with the operator to arrange a viewing so the client could see the aircraft before confirming.
Boston Airport couldn’t accommodate the requested charter timings, so we set about finding an alternative departure airport. Many refused because of the aircraft’s size, but Providence Airport in Rhode Island accepted the charter – its largest-ever international flight.
